Properties
Appearance    (1), yellow or brown viscous liquid; (2), solid.
Solubility    soluble in water.
Stability    stable in weak alkali, weak acid and hard water; unstable in strong acid, strong alkali. Resistant to hard water and acid more than turky red oil.

(3), Ricinoleic acid butyl ester sulfate is obtained by sulfation of ricinoleic acid butyl ester and concentrated sulfuric acid (or sulfur trioxide);
(4), Sodium ricinoleic acid butyl ester sulfate is obtained by water cleaning, neutralization.
