Major Uses
1. Typical applications
Use as emulsifying agent, dispersing agent.
2. Coatings
Drier in paint. Alternative to rare earth naphthenate.
Mainly used in air-drying paint, such as alkyd varnish, enamel and so on.
Especially suitable for light-colored paint.
Alternative to manganese isooctanate, lead isooctanate, zinc isooctanoate, calcium isooctanate in drier of paints.
Usually, used in combination with cobalt isooctanoate, can improve the adhesion and water resistance of paint film.
3. Biotech industry
Growth-promoting agent in biotech industry.
